Orazio is a father of 2 children, who has been married for 20 years. He has been in practice for a total of 22 years. His interests are in the areas of family health, paediatric care, nutrition (including nutritional supplementation), the management of sports injuries and in rehabilitation (including both spinal and non-spinal injuries). Orazio also manages womens health in preparation for pregnancy as well as during pregnancy. Care during these times allows for a happy relatively pain free pregnancy.
Orazio is one of only a handful of chiropractors in the world who specialises in paediatrics with a Masters degree from the University of Wales. He is the only university qualified paediatric chiropractic specialist on the North Shore and the Northern Beaches. Orazio completed his masters thesis on “chiropractic management of deformational plagiocephaly”. This included a clinical trial involving 24 infants. The clinical results achieved were outstanding with a 100% resolution rate achieved in all infants involved in the study.
Orazio has enjoyed seeing fantastic results amongst his young patients and he has experienced success in areas such as:Ear infections, bedwetting, back pain, plagiocephaly(asymmetry or flat spots of the head), headaches, babies who are unsettled or not feeding well, clumsiness, sports injuries and soft tissue injuries. These conditions along with many others respond well to chiropractic care.

David’s passion for health, nutrition and fitness originally stems from a love of sport and competing. After years of playing various sports (and realising that not every teenage boy gets to become a professional athlete), it seemed only natural to progress into the world of health. David completed his Masters of Chiropractic in 2009 at Macquarie University after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Physiology from the University of New South Wales in 2006.
David has worked as both a sports chiropractor with sporting teams, professional and Olympic athletes and as a family Chiropractor in a private practice, David brings years of both clinical and practical experience to Contemporary Healthcare. His treatment utilises a multi-disciplinary approach combining techniques and principles from various fields of manual adjustments, soft tissue release, rehabilitation, supplementation, nutrition, biomechenical analysis and electrophysical therapies to ensure complete and holistic treatment for all his patients.
David’s greatest passion is helping everyday people and families to reach their health goals and get past obstacles blocking them from getting what they want. He has helped children as young as 1 week old all the way to those who are still young at heart but “technically” closing in on 100. With a thirst for knowledge he is constantly attending various seminars to ensure his patients benefit from the most cutting edge treatments and information.
“I believe that health is a combination of many factors and the best results are gained when we look at the body as a whole. Whether it is physical, nutritional or emotional, each plays a role in how we function as a person. Health is not simply a diet or a treatment but rather a lifestyle that allows us to be the best we can be”.
